I’ve always been lean, but I wanted to build muscle and tone my body not just for aesthetic reasons, but for my health, as I heard reistsenace training is good for your metabolism, as well as over all health.
What I didn’t expect was how greatly i improvement in my mental health and to find a friend. The most beneficial thing about having a personal trainer, is that you are pushed to/beyond limits you never thought you had and that is the only way I saw results.
Bella’s mix of positive friendly vibes as well as her abilty to tap into both your weaknesses and strengths is what made me consistently keep her as my PT. I never realised how important it was for your mind and body to have a great PT until I met Bella.

Isabella Hakin, is the third personal trainer i have tried. I remember when she first interviewed me about my goal; i told her that i wanted a 160kg deadlift by the end of June 2017. She did not only help me reach my goal of 160kg but also guided me to successfully completing a lift of 162.5kg with considerably good form for a heavy single!
She is a force to be reckoned with, who’s training programs and protocols suit me well. She makes me understand that commitment is paramount for everything and that a journey to have a good strong body or to reach any goal (strength or aesthetic) is never linear.
I can see myself growing constantly; mentally and physically. Dont judge the book by its cover. For this young lady may have a small body but her brain is big and knowledge vast.

I have always had issues with my self-image, weight and food. I have lost weight plenty of times before when doing yoyo style dieting and seriously undereating but I always gained it back, giving me a very bad relationship with food and hence various health issues. Just over a year ago I joined a gym and decided I wanted to do this correctly and the healthy way, I had also plateau’d for about a year!!! 7 weeks ago I asked Isabella from B.fitness Personal training to get on her nutrition plan as I was determined to do it correctly and wanted better results and I know she would have my best interests and health at heart. I have done every plan you can think of including nutrition and training plans from big Instagram fitness icons and I have to say- I have NEVER had the results with any of them that I have gotten in these past 7 weeks with Bella. I am amazed!
I have lost 5kg and my arms and waist are tiny! This has given me the motivation to keep on pushing myself to do better. Bella has also helped me look at food differently “food is fuel“, “consistency is key“, “nutrition and balance is everything” and it feels great. It is amazing how far I’ve come in such a short time I don’t crave junk food, I’m eating the right foods and enough of it and the best part is I’m not starving myself or hurting my body and Im getting amazing results!

I stared with Bella 8 weeks ago, I felt demotivated in the gym which is strange for me because I love training. I somehow managed to get stuck in a cardio cycle that did nothing and just loved the wrong foods Monday to Sunday.
The first week was hell and I really doubted if it was worth it, if I should accept my body as it was. Bella gave me such confidence and each session was fun and challenging.
I feel closer to myself again and love the changes I am seeing with my mental health and my physical health. Bella has taught me so much across nutrition and training and I am so excited to see what the next 8 weeks bring.

I’ve never been so confident in how my body looks as I’m small and have no body definition. I previously gymed for 2 years but have always found myself running on the treadmill and doing cardio on the machine without any profound effect. I stopped going to the gym after a while and started to feel I was getting chubbier on my face, arms and stomach.
I started training with Bella 3 months ago to get my fitness level back up and was hoping to get some results for that ‘summer body’. The programs I took on were challenging and intense, but I succeeded through Bella's support and drive in every session. I started to see real results in just 6 weeks. Without having to be on a strict diet, I’m amazed with the results I’m achieving in such a short amount of time!

I’ve been training with Bella for about 6 weeks now and I’m already so stoked with my results. My goal is to not just lose weight but to create a body that’s healthy, lean and, most importantly, sustainable. I knew I needed to change things up to achieve this but I wasn’t sure how and what I was doing at the gym just wasn’t cutting it. I wanted a trainer who practices what they preach, has the education to back them up and encourages a healthy/balanced diet (something I struggled with in the past). He has achieved his strength goals of a 130kg back squat, a 160kg conventional deadlift (he beat this and pulled 162.5 nicely!), then and more so now, for some time we have been working on correcting imbalances and addressing his aesthetic goals.

The last 7 months of having my butt kicked by Bella have been insane – in the best possible way. After struggling for 4.5 years with different training techniques, diets, and eventually deciding nothing would ever work for my body, I started training with Bella. Only used to come to your sessions for the bants, but now I’m actually starting to notice the weight loss. A lot of you will recognise Deanna, as we’ve been working together for 2 years now! She came to me with the goal to shred drown gradually before her wedding, stay fit & fine for her honeymoon and hope to maintain her progress and improved physique from there! This comparison post is to give everyone a slice of the bigger picture. Prior to starting up with myself at #BfitnessPersonalTraining Deanna yo-yo dieted, suffered from stress, had a bad relationship with food.
➡️ We started off with some general preparation work, basic training fundamentals and began her wedding prep putting her into a calorie deficit based off a % of her TDEE/ how much she should actually be eating.
➡️ Adjusting her training along the way, a few diet breaks, and calorie cuts Deanna was wedding ready! 🔥
➡️ After the cut, ‼️ The important part ‼️ After all the yo-yo dieting we really wanted to make sure we took good care in increasing calories back slowly whilst not being too strict. REVERSE DIETING enabled Deanna to keep her lean physique & progress she’d worked so hard for, whilst increasing her calories higher post deficit.
➡️ Deanna has always lived her BEST life and I am so proud of the work she has put in as her maintenance is true #GOALS! 👏🏼❤️
We have been working consistently hard, focusing on each goal at hand, sticking to functional progressive programming, keeping the bigger picture in mind and always encouraging balance in life. Deanna is a hard worker and I am extremely proud of her success! 🙌🏽💫
I just wanted to say that the last 8 months or so of training with you has been fantastic!! I was so happy with my progress at our check in the other week.
Every now and then we do a set that, in the beginning, I doubt if I can even do one rep (let alone 8 or 12), but you push me to smash it out, which is something I could never do by myself and it's truely paid off!!! So for that, thank you so much!! I'm really looking forward to this coming year training with you and smashing my one and only goal of becoming the real life Ben Swolo!!
